Pakistan is a country which is rich in culture and religion. Islam is the major religion but along with it there are other minorities like Christians, Hindu, Sikh,and Afghans etc. Christians are the largest minority community in Pakistan. They constitute about 1.6%of the Pakistan's population.Christianity in Asia has its roots in the very inception of Christianity, which originated with Jesus Christ, and then spread through the missionary work of his apostles. Christianity first expanded in the Levant, taking roots in the major cities such as Jerusalem and Antioch. According to tradition, further eastward expansion occurred via the preaching of Saint Thomas the Apostle, who established Christianity in the Parthian Empire (Iran) and India.

Family Life assists families, children and young people as well as making our society a better place for everyone including the most disadvantaged and vulnerable. At the heart of our enterprise are the authentic grass-root relationships with our people, the people we help and the people of the community. Family Life is a centre of research, knowledge and innovation delivering measurable social change and impact. We contribute to national and international knowledge through our reputation for changing lives by effective connection, care and transformation. Family Life offers counseling, mediation, mental health services, support and community educational services, outreach to homes, case coordination and advocacy.Pakistani culture is male dominated society, so Involving men in healthy timing and spacing of pregnancies can be difficult in any society. In a male dominated society, such as Pakistan, it can be especially challenging. In order to educate men about family planning indirectly, So here in Pakistan mostly we talk to women about family planning and encourage them to take this knowledge home to their husbands and partners. "At the moment, it is very difficult to engage men in family planning directly," explain the men about natural family planning because they don't like to talk about NFP. But we hope soon the change will come."

We are focusing on these points to improve Natural Family Life here in Pakistan:

• Has been providing family support services to improve Natural Family Life.

• Mostly arranging one day seminars and 2 days or 3 days Natural Family Planning Courses through Billing Ovulation Method.

• Using Print madia papers, magazines, and other social madia to promote Natural Family Planning in Christian community.

• Works within the community providing prevention, early intervention and treatment services

•Provides services for the most vulnerable, those at-risk and all families experiencing difficult life transitions.

• Develops innovative solutions to complex social issues.

This education is very important & needfull here in this country because our Christian families are broken because they don't know about the holiness of the family life. We are very stronge Financially to spread this education to save families here in pakistan. We need you kindness and support for this Work.Natural Family Planning, in keeping with the Church's teaching, views fertility as a sacred reality to live rather than a problem to be solved. It is not the rhythm method of old, but rather scientifically proven methods that take advantage of the body's natural rhythms of fertility and infertility. The couple places no barriers between themselves and no potentially harmful chemicals in the woman's body. Natural Family Planning methods respect the integrity of men and women and are supportive to the marriage covenant. The couple partners with God, as co-creators of new life.

NFP is not only an accepted method used for spacing children; it is also highly effective for helping couples achieve pregnancy. Infertility is more common than one might think and it can cause married couples great pain and grief. NFP may help.NFP does not involve the use of any medications, drugs or devices, is completely safe and has no harmful side effects. The self-knowledge that couples gain by using it is valuable in helping them to maintain good reproductive health.When couples receive proper instruction, understand the method and are motivated to follow it, NFP is up to 99% successful in avoiding or achieving pregnancy.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Natural Family Planning Association is to teach the Billings Ovulation Method of family planning and catholic Church teaching about natural family planning while promoting an understanding and appreciation of fertility that reflects Catholic teachings as outlined in Humanae Vitae . We serve the entire community regardless of religious background: single women, married and engaged couples, adolescents as well as those who provide teaching and counseling to them.

The Natural Family life Planning - Pakistan provides free education on family life, We are committed to advancing the development of knowledgeable, proficient and accredited instructors who serve couples and individuals, through Billings Ovulation Method to foster the understanding of fertility and support the planning and spacing of children.Natural Family Planning (NFP) is the general title for the scientific, natural and moral methods of family planning that can help married couples either achieve or postpone pregnancy. It is not contraception. NFP methods are based on the observation of the naturally occuring signs and symptoms of the fertile and infertile phases of a woman's menstrual cycle. No drugs, devices, or sugrical procedures are used to avoid pregnancy. Since the methods of NFP respect the love-giving (unitive) and life-giving (procreative) nature of the conjugal act, they support God's design for married love!

We support Married Couples, young people who are ready to get married and health professionals with the most up-to-date information and scientific research related to NFP and fertility awareness.We strive to bring understanding of the value of NFP as a safe, reliable, easy-to-use method of family planning.Encourages each married couple to study and fully understand the vocation of marriage to which it has been called by God.
